Letter from the President of Mozambique

29 October 2012

We, the people of Mozambique, call upon all the nations of the world to continue striving for peace, security and development of humankind. We say never again should we or the generations to come experience wanton killing, massive destruction and displacement of people. We say the world should be a place where we live with dignity, free from poverty, and where every one of us finds room and encouragement to create and to enjoy the social and economic development the human mind is capable of.

Armando Emilio Guebuza

President of Mozambique
